On his vision quest he was told "do not create what was, create the new era, the Guardian Art".

Guardian Art | Art of the Hero is a spiritual fighting discipline that is here to make the medicine of the Starcadian Knights | Guardians of the Wild Prime in this new era of Earth.

the art of guardian art

Decades of high-level Full Contact Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Parkour, and Ninja Warrior style competitions have proven Guardian Art to be an elite self-defense & fitness discipline. With our unique Heritage of creating the “Guardian’s Game” the game that modern day Lacrosse descends from, is a great example of the diversity of Guardian Art.

The Guardian Game consisted of full contact fighting infused with our traditional spirit running, along high level teamwork community building skills, trained very powerful Guardians for generations of millennia’s and counting.

In modern laymen’s terms there are four disciplines that are needed to be successful in a hand to hand combat situation. They include boxing, muay thai, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu.

Guardian Art is an eclectic system compared to many martial arts systems that incorporates the most effective techniques from our heritage that has these four discipline styles naturally incorporated creating an unparalleled self-defense & fitness discipline.

Guardian Art

descends from the galaxy within - Great Owl Lightning.

Guardian Art was not forged from the past, but it was from a Call to Adventure.

It was born from Vision.

In the very early years of his life, Great Owl Lightning traveled and pursued the path of excellence in the martial arts. He was  born into the era of styles and raised within the many houses of fighting—disciplines kept separate, guarded by walls of tradition, each master holding only a fragment of the greater whole. Though his skill grew, his spirit sensed something missing.

As a young man of First Nations ancestry, Great Owl Lightning entered ceremony and vision. On his Vision Quest, the veil was lifted. The Creator spoke—not in words, but in knowing—and gifted him a vision that would change his path forever.

He was shown that what once existed had been broken apart for a reason.

He saw the old ways scattered like a sacred bundle torn open by time—each piece carried by different peoples, different lands, different lineages. He was told:

“Do not recreate what was.
What was has passed because it could not survive this age.
Create what must come next.
What is born will live only as well as you shape it.”

In that vision, Great Owl Lightning saw the great Orion wars his ancestors spoke of and all paths of self defense, movement, survival, and spirit returning together in a wild way—not as they were, but as something new, unified, alive, and adaptable. A single living system. A way of training that did not divide the Guardian, but made them whole.

He was shown himself traveling across globe, walking sacred lands and First Nations territories, not to claim ownership—but to remember, to listen, and to recover fragments of an ancient guardian legacy carried by the land itself. Some pieces were teachings. Some were artifacts. Some were responsibilities.

These were not relics to be displayed.
They were medicines to be carried.

From this vision, NXGA — the Nexus of Guardian Art was born. A meeting place. A convergence point. A living school where the disciplines of fighting, movement, strategy, survival, spirit and the soul of the wild could exist together—training the whole human, not just the fighter, the Guardian.

Guardian Art is not frozen in time.
It is alive.

It grows, reshapes, re-wilds, and evolves—learning each day how to meet a changing world. It is an art born from vision, not tradition. From responsibility, not nostalgia. Its lineage is not measured in centuries past, but in how well it prepares Guardians for the future.

The true origin of Guardian Art lives in vision—what we call the Galaxy Within, and the Wilderness of the Stars.

Guardian Art | Art of the Hero is a spiritual fighting discipline that is here to awaken the Wild Medicine inside individuals to become Starcadian Knights—Guardians of the Wild Prime. It exists to remind us that each of us is the hero of our own story, and that the path forward is not found by looking backward, but by walking bravely into the unknown.

This is not a return.

This is an arrival.
