WHAT TYPE OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER?We offer beginner level classes for all age groups as well as intermediate and advanced level classes in NXGA kickboxing, MMA, Obstacles, and NXGA Saber training.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST CLASS?No preparation is needed. Just wear comfortable workout clothes and show up, our instructors will handle the rest!

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS?Yes, we offer beginner classes for adults and kids. No experience required.

HOW MANY TIMES PER WEEK DO I ATTEND?We recommend a minimum of two classes per week. Many adults like to attend three or more classes per week.

HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?Depending on the location the cost of our classes range from $14 to $27 depending on the program you choose.

WHAT TIME ARE THE CLASSES?We offer a variety of class times to meet individual needs. Ask about our schedule at the location you are seeking for more detail.

HOW IS THE GUARDIAN ART WORKOUT DIFFERENT THAN GOING TO A GYM?Most people can’t stick with the gym. More than 90% quit after just one month. It’s boring and there are not enough reasons to keep many consistent. With Guardian Art you get our 3-dimensional workout which includes total body results + learning the life skill of self-defense + spirit running agility and on top of that, our classes are adventurous with our Guardian Games, NXGA Saber training included! Our classes are intriguing and fun! Results, fun and self-defense make it easy to stay consistent and consistency is the key to success!

AT WHAT AGE DO CHILDREN START CLASSES?Our Starling pre-school program begins at 3yr. Our children’s Wild-Things program begins at 5 yr. old.

WHAT DO I WEAR FOR MY FIRST CLASS?For your private beginner session class, we recommend sweats and a t-shirt.

HOW LONG ARE THE CLASSES?Teens & Adult classes are one hour. Preschool, Starling Classes are 30 minutes, Wild-Things Kids classes are 45 minutes, and Kids Starfighter classes are one hour.

HOW IS GUARDIAN ART DIFFERENT?Guardian Art is different than many Martial Arts schools in many ways. From the dedication and expertise of our head instructors who have a minimum of 10 years’ experience and are the owners of their schools, to the unique and unparalleled curriculum that we teach, to the professional and beautiful facilities we provide. Nothing else is Guardian Art.

HOW MANY CALORIES CAN I BURN IN AN HOUR?While we estimate you will burn about 800 – 1000 calories in a class, many of our students have measured over 1200 calories burned in just one class using their own fitness bands.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE I START CLASSES?You don’t need any previous experience. Just show up in some comfortable workout clothes and our professional staff and instructors will make sure you have a great workout and learn a skill that will change your life!

IS THERE SPARRING?Yes, there is sparring, and it is built in gradual small steps to build the confidence of our students. We have a sparing policy to build up each other and taking care of your partners is at its core.

DO I HAVE TO COMPETE?No, competition is not required. However, for those students interested, we do offer the opportunity to compete in different types of events, and even have a professional fight team that successfully competes at the highest levels of martial arts competition.
